  • every note's written in the score. You don't need to be that exact, but you shouldn't be out of tune either. Basically, you reach the correct note, but leave it promptly on your way to the next one... The notes to be sung are marked "gesungen" in the score. Whispered ones are marked too... It is more specific and determined than it seems to be when you're listening to it. And only when you look into the score are you able to say anything about the masterpiece :)

  • i just learned about sprechstimme (not a vocalist)... how much interpretation is there and how much is notated? i'm so curious!
