Dream Theater - Repentance solo (cover)

Ok so ...
this is my first ever web-cam recording of playing the guitar through headphone mic (Koss SB/45). Didn't use any extra effects aside those Marshall AVT150 combo. Guitar = Ibanez RG 2570E

The background is only a backing track downloaded from dunno where (kudos to the guy who made it), with extensively suppresed JP's lead.

And yes I know I should practice more and that I was sometimes a bit off :P As stated - just a testing!

quick question, do you think they're good for recording tutorials and that kind of stuff?

@theBeorn What kind of tutorials are we talking about?

In this video, the headphones were lying directly next to the speaker with mic positioned right at it + one of my PC speaker was aiming at the mic with the backing track.

If you want to talk something to the mic from a distance, you won't hear much. But otherwise (if you talk to the mic while having the headset on head) the voice recorded sounds pretty amazing.

Nice playing, good quality recording also. What settings you used on your AVT150, got the same combo.
