how about just using a ram.. three hits should should take care of the door knob and dead bolt....if your strong enough of course

I don't think you're supposed to shoot the actual metal lock because of the possible ricochet. Your supposed to shoot at the wood part of the door where the door meets the frame at the lock. The fragments explode the inside lock out.

Each person only got to shoot one lock or doorknob because we didn't have enough for everyone to each shoot both.

you guys got ripped off! you dont see these doors outside of homes, (which is the primary reason for a door breach to be executed). If you didn't have an industrial door, and you didn't have access to "hatton" plastic slug projectiles you guys just wasted time. good day sirs...

Ripped off? Ripped off how? We were trained by a SWAT team member and police officer from New Jersey. He's our friend and didn't charge us a dime. We got the doors from the junk yard because they were free. My father-in-law runs the range where we did the drills. The entire day was the cost of ammo and the pizza we had for lunch. Any time spent on the range is not what I would consider time wasted. Oh, and good day to you too.

The question was already answered in the comments... "Buckshot and birdshot... we also tried slugs. We were all pretty surprised at how well the birdshot performed compared to the other two."
