I am asking because ive never flown in economy class.

im always on 102 and 103 twice a year. I Observed that the flight attendants are more mature and well they have proper coordination with safety and landing.
I salute them especially the one who refuse to give me sedative pills. lols

@jasperians PAL does have some younger lady flight attendants on international routes..I think PAL uses a seniority system of working Domestic first and then can transfer to International at a later date.Once you transfer from Domestic to International one loses their seniority status of ranking in cabin crew and starts afresh.This is normal practice of airlines that have domestic and International flights.

PAL has "older" flight attendants on their international routes because they have the experience it takes to meet the international requirements. They know how to coordinate service and safety equally. Even though they are "grumpy" they can sure as hell save your life in an emergency. However, the attitude of these flight attendants are improving.

@PRA343 arent they older cause its by seniority? Thats how it is for us in Air Canada.

@qbase1 Yeah it's mostly about seniority but I heard they are putting some younger crew members for experience and training.
