Lupus Awareness: Denise shares her story

Denise Cartagena has lupus and Walks to raise money for lupus research. For this Walk, she raised over $800 on her own by posting the link to the Walk on her Facebook page. With the support of friends and family, Denise has made a huge contribution to helping ALR fund better lupus research.

In an effort to raise awareness for this "invisible" disease, the Alliance for Lupus Research (ALR) is launching a series of short videos: real people—lupus patients, an ALR-funded researchers and the daughter of a lupus patient—candidly talking about their experiences with lupus.
