About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)

Eugene, Thank you for an excellent TEDx Talk. My elevator speech is often "I am the conductor of a finely tuned orchestra". Your talk really brought it to life. I have been inspired by Daniel Pink and his thoughts about bringing the right brain into the corporate world. Your talk represents his points in the book 'The Whole New Mind'. Thank you for sharing your idea of 'coach to the concept not the technique'. I also like your point of a of 'a real live performance dashboard. Great talk.

This is not to be missed! Mr. Lee is truly inspiring - he offers a wonderfully innovative way of approaching leadership and teamwork. He shows how everyday teams and organizations can find their greatest potential through the framework of musical direction and collaboration, whether the team is led by a director or is operating together without one.

Wow this guy has got it totally backwards. No sound issues from the baton. Get rid of the conductor, as talented as she me be, and the orchestra will play Tchaikowsky's 4th EXACTLY the SAME. Check it out - Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. No conductor. Guess what, musicians can figure out bowings, phrasings, etc. by themselves. The conductor can go on thinking he's "interpreting" the music - he isn't. The players are.
