So this is my African grey congo parrot named Lola. She speaks and can hold an amazing conversation with anyone. This is what she does the whole time at home sitting outside her cage she'll sing, talk and mimic. In the video you can hear say "I Love You" "Where's the kitty cat MEOW" "Bark" etc. She's 1 1/2 years old, so she's still picking up a lot of words. But she really is amazing. Do any of you have a talking parrot like Lola? Post a video response and show me ur friendly bird.
Enjoy :)

  • That is an amazing bird i have an african grey named coco and he just started to say hello how do u get ur birds to talk pllzzzzzz reply

  • @firebreath98 Hi there Fire, In order to get ur parrot coco to speak is to constantly repeat the same word sentence or phrase daily. That's what I do with my bird. The more u repeat it the faster they will pick it up :) good luck

  • i have 1 her name is cocoa and at night she says cocoa night night!!!!!!

  • Her voice sounds very cuuuute! wish mine would be like yours. well still learning to voice.

  • SHE IS AMAZING!!!

  • @bonitacherry2 hmmm...i see what sue2222sue has seen.

unless there is damage to the wings, that bird can easily fly with just the feathers she has. our grey didn't have half the feathers that are right now showing on Lola, and ours could easily fly across the room.

i am so sorry to hear some of Lola's feathers will never grow back--although i have never heard of such a thing from just cutting.

beware--she could still get some lift from the feathers that are showing in the vid.

    take care!!

  • she is adorable. im trying to get as much info befor i get mine to know exactly how to take care of it. im a stay at home mom and will have lots of time to be with it. i was wondering how they act to new commers? and how long it takes them to learn a word? do they have a special diet? and what is it with them and bathrooms so far ive seen 2 other gray's and there in the bathroom is that some place comon they like to be?
