Does anyone know just how much area a holodeck can appear to expand to? Does it depend on the original size of the room, or the amount of power given to it?
It's funny, the little errors, especially on this and many of the other early episodes. Just in this clip, there are at least two. At 4:05, the computer tells Riker as he's walking that the holodeck will be at the next hatchway on his right. He turns left and walks in, lol. The other obvious flaw is that Wesley strolls out of the holodeck soaking wet in holodeck water. That water could not still exist.
(4:25) I love the computer in the starship! It's the ability to track Commander Riker that directs him to the holodeck! :D
(7:38) And a rock bounces off the hologrid wall. LOL! :D
(8:00-8:20) Ah, the illusion of water that can make you feel so good. ;)
I'd like to travel back on time to 1971 to visit the Magic Kingdom in the holodeck. That'd be very cool! But buy a cassette tape from the Disney store, take it outside the holodeck, and it'll cease to exist! :) Of course, I wouldn't do that.
@b286guy Some things were probably made by replicators

Wouldn't a holographic rock keep going and how does up or down exist in the holodeck?
