Yep!
In fact I feel this movie contains the real ESSENCE of ROCK...I would say of PUNK ROCK! Not the music by Rota (of course) but the rhythm by Fellini... the speed..the self-destructive urge.

I was born in the very HEART of Rome, in 1960.
Here... Fellini captures with creepy precision the DEADLY atmosphere that pervades the Eternal City. Many a night, on my meditative rambles, I would see him, strolling around, FEELING this amazing city, just as I did.
But putting these sensations on screen, well...that's a GENIUS' miracle...

I was so glad to find that Itunes had the soundtrack to Toby Dammit. Nino Rota's music is dreamy and haunting.
