I cannot believe that the church is stooping this low. It makes me cringe that people think that this makes God happy when it really makes him sick. God never had to use the world to bring people to him, he used people that were usually hated and looked low upon called the apostles. Christian are to be seperate from the world and a peculiar people not the same. It is sad that the world looks at the church and sees themselves and it is sad that this "church" looks like a concert.

@RevJhow12 Thanks for the comment. Just to clarify. This video reflects an in-house celebration for our anniversary and we just wanted to share that with people. We're not trying t to be cool or conform to the world but just enjoyed hanging out as community and have some fun. If you check back to the Bible, Jesus was pretty big on celebrations and taught that we are different not how we looked, or our music, but how we lived out our faith in service. Hope you catch a vision of that. Take care.

@Zooeyological Heee, they totally 'stole' the Usher pun from me :P I used to usher at my previous church&joke that "I'm Usher today" and then hum the tune to 'You Remind Me'. Did anyone check in with Tim to see if we've given up trying to get this on the 'most viewed' list? Another comment about those who aren't too fond of us changing a secular song, isn't that like a part of our Christian calling? "So that we might change the world..."?

For those who have kind of formed an entire opinion of our church from this one video. Please, at the very least consider looking at ALL of our videos on this channel. Second of all, I haven't been at/with The Meeting House all of the 25 years but I can tell you for the 3 years or so I have been there this is the first time we've ever used a secular tune in our worship service, also those who commented that this is kind of inappropriate,I'm sorry that u weren't able to join our entire worship.

This is our part keep up the good work if you don't have a permission to make a song so who can? in our generation we have to do something different to encourage everyone to know who's jesus is; but we have to explain to them what we want to deliver. Peace

@RevJhow12 Yes, after this "show", I abandoned the church, it's increrible see teachers of the word of God, teaching Nirvana and humanistics lessons, please take the time and meditate how the people of berea in the bible and think if this teaches are for the human's satisfaction or to glorify God. It's not trough human knowlege, it's trough the word of God that the people will be save.

get to know Jesus...seriously. I really hope you're obeying Him. You ignore the spiritual conversation and focus on the carnal, and that's a bad sign for you. I don't see a thing you corrected, if you have an honest correct I would accept it. But I haven't seen a thing, show it again. I never said the world "culture." This is a worldly song, disagree? Done by a worldly singer, one who actually has another song where he blasphemes God in the title? I actually heard it at a wedding, had to walk out because it was so wicked.

Do you not understand this meshing of paganism/Christ is what's ruined the Catholic church?
