Lynn Jackenheimer was last heard from on July 3rd, while on vacation in the Outer Banks in NC with Nate (Nathan) Summerfield and the couple's 3-year-old son and her 13-year-old daughter. Summerfield returned to Ashland, Ohio on July 8th with Jackenheimer's children, but she was not with them. Summerfield then confessed to his brother that he had strangled her & dumped her body in NC. He then took off and has been on the run since. Her body was discovered about a week later & a warrant for murder was issued for Summerfield by Dare County Sheriff's Dept in NC.

Nate Summerfield is now considered a fugitive from the law. Summerfield has been featured on America's Most Wanted and US Marshals are currently in an active manhunt for Summerfield. News reports that Summerfield was captured on July 23 were incorrectly verifed by Coshocton County Sheriff's Dept. Nate (Nathan) Summerfield is still on the loose!!
