UPDATE: I have gotten a few extremely rude and negative comments on this video. To those who have gotten their comments deleted, you either are blind or don't know how to read. Never in this video do I suggest you not buy any game listed. I am only informing others that you need to carefully choose what game you want if you don't want to get stuck with a game you didn't want in the first place. I feel sorry for your stupidity.
I had this idea for a few months now but just recently got the last bit of info I needed to make it. You'll see why I had to share this amazing amount of public fraud.
Here is my script that I read off in case you don't understand something I said.
Hi everybody. This is skybluepainter speaking.
I'm making this video for all the horse crazy girls who have ever been tricked into buying the worst game ever.
In this video I will be clarifying the differences between several games that have caused a lot of confusion in the horse lover community.
As I'm sure most of you know, there is a famous game franchise known as Petz, with a Z, by UBISOFT.
We have all seen them advertising games about animals ranging from hamsters to horses. This video is about their worst game collection...Horses.
By the time you finish watching this video, I hope you will have learned to thoroughly research into the types of games you want before wasting your money.
At the end, there will be a shorter explanation about another popular game involving dogs and cats.
Enjoy the video.
First, I'll address the key differences of features in the older game.
In this game, you play, Lily, a girl who must save her uncle's ranch by competing.
This game places strong emphasis on action and scenery, with special camera angles used over perfectly jumped fences and at key locations during rides.
The game utilizes realistic breeding aspects, such as skills and color depending on the foal's parents. It also allows you to influence your horse's personality by the way you train it.
The horses are groomed inside the stable, the loading screen is that of a vine in the lower right hand corner, and Lily's hairstyle is that of a pony tail.
Now we move on to the complex world of advertising.
This game was first released under the title Alexandra Ledermann: The Stud of the Valley in French, which came out on the PC, PS2, and Wii.
Horsez: Ranch Rescue became its international title for the PC, PS2, and Wii.
They then changed the game's title to Pippa Funnell: Ranch Rescue for just the PS2 and Wii.
When it was translated to English, it became Petz Horsez 2 for the PC, PS2, PSP, and Wii.
They changed the PSP's title to Petz Saddle Club.
A common confusion is that the PC version of Petz Horsez 2 is actually a totally different game called Alexandra Ledermann 8: Secrets of the Stud (in French) and Pippa Funnell: Secrets of the Ranch (in English), which have completely different graphics.
Continuing on to the newer game, you once again play Lily as she tries to help save the wild Mustang population at a nature reserve after a mysterious decline in birth rates.
The graphics are slightly improved in this game, but the overall gameplay has been lost.
In this game, the player has the ability to befriend and tame wild horses and compete in the Legend's Cup.
Though you can still breed in this game, skills no longer play a part.
Grooming takes place outside in the field, the loading screen is that of Lily riding a stallion in the lower left hand corner, and her hairstyle is that of a bowl cut.
This game was not swapped around as much as the first one.
Its original release was under the title Alexandra Ledermann: Wild Horses on the Hill in French for the PC.
It was translated to English and became Imagine Champion Rider for the PC and PSP.
And it was later formatted for the Wii and became known as Petz Horse Club.
I want to add that if you are looking for a version of either of these two games, I recommend staying away from the Wii versions because they decided to remove the breeding aspect, along with some other added features, from both games.
Only the French releases have good lip-synching actors, though the English translations of either game is very good, with few exceptions.
And now to the very last part of this video.
UBISOFT's Petz is known to have made several games over the years targeting dog and cat lovers.
You may type in your search engine Dogz or Catz to find the latest Petz games.
But many people don't know that another game collection used the same titles of Catz and Dogz.
If you don't type in Petz along with Catz or Dogz, you will end up with a game that has animals that look more like paper cutouts rather than detailed 3D animations.
Though that's not to say one is better or worse than the other.
That's it for this informational video about Petz and I hope you have a nice day.
so whats the best overall horse simulation pc game out there??? i want both graphics and realisim.
thanks

That's a tough one to answer simply because it's based on what an individual believes makes a game realistic. But if your going for the realistic looks of the game, Lucinda Green's Equestrian Challenge for the PC is good.

You mean like ride where you want when you want? That would be the two Horsez games for PC/Wii.
