This is a review of the Jam Pedals Red Muck played over Pink Floyd's Sorrow. I'm using a Fender CIJ '65 reissue Stratocaster with EMG DG20 pickups into a Laney Cub12 15w stack and adding a Boss CS2 compressor, (Red Muck), BK Butler Tube Driver, Boss CE2 analog chorus and Boss DD2 digital delay. Download the backingtrack on my site www.gilmourish.com.

  • On the second part were you using the Butler before or after de Red Muck?? Please reply back, I'm depending on your answer to buy a Red Muck!

    Thanks!

  • @DilemaDaSemente

It's after. The signal chain is how it's written in the caption during the second part.

    Ok, thanks Bjorn!!

I'm gonna use a Timmy pedal as boost/overdrive before or after the muff, but can't decide between 4 muffs... The Red Muck, Stomp Under Foot Rams Head (Violet or 73), or the Skreddy Pig Mine... Can you help me? I'm looking for that comfortably numb solo.... using a 57 strat and a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe..

  • @DilemaDaSemente

Between these I think the Red Muck goes best with a booster but the SUF '73 is probably better as a stand alone distortion.

  • I would like to do the intro of sorrow? :D

  • Thanks Bjorn! I've just ordered a Red Muck from Jannis at Jam Pedals:) Jannis is a nice guy!

  • no more need for an original triangle muff right?

  • That first tone was kinda bland for my taste, but the second was sweet sweet candy to my ears.

  • DO you get these Pedals for free..or do you buy them....if free ,,,I want your Job !

    Thanks Man !
