Dean and Rory were boring together, and Jess was unhealthy for her, but Logan was the person for her. He was always there for here, when Richard had his heart attack-he borrowed a guys chopper to get to her! I think that the ending was dumb, maybe Rory would have said no to marriage but Logan would never have offered and ultimatum like he did, Logan adored Rory and never would have been able to be without her.

@ponysrule34 I think it could have worked with Jess because last time we saw him he had matured a lot...but I agree the ending with Logan made NO sense. Logan loved Rory more than anything and I think he would have been very understanding about her not wanting to get married yet, rather than risk losing her.

I was always thrilled that she said no to Logan, I HATE shows that always make people say yes to marriage proposals. It would have been so unlike Rory's character. However, I don't think Logan would have set that ultimatum. On the other hand him being out of character there allowed Rory to end the show single, and I think that was really important. Lots of young women can benefit by knowing that they can be single and happy.

@zebraxxmusic Agreed. Rory'd played it safe and missed out on dating Tristan (bad timing, Chad getting his own show like that) so Logan was her second chance at the "refined bad boy". Jess was too much like her (though I think he was the best fit) and Christopher for them to have lasted. In the end, the underlying moral stands - the best kind of Gilmore Girl is the single kind.

@Mehlwurm16 Yeah but Logan is like the older version of Triston in my opinion and Jess was good for Rory in the sense that he gave her challenges, unlike Dean, who gave her nothing but a bracelet.
