Use GSDX DX9 and 1270x2000 resolution to get rid of the vertical lines!!

http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/7267/gsdx.jpg

The internal d3d resolution of the Gsdx plugin is set to 1920x1080. If u add &fmt=22 at the end of the video you will get a slightly better framerate with a lil bit worse overall quality.
Fraps slowed the video down. Tekken 5 is running great with a framerate above 50fps all the time. Apart from the 'vertical line bug' and a couple of other 'bonus' textures showing up during gameplay this title is now playable for me and I dont need the console any more :]. Hooray for PCSX2

Here are the emulator settings.

Speed Hacks:
x2
INTC
IOP x2

Set this up like this and youre ready to go. Tekken 5 HD on your PC.

As far as overclocking goes, PCSX2 is using up about 80% of a dual-core and 40% quad-core from what I can tell so in short every mhz on that fsb counts :)

I did tests on fsb 2000 and it made a huuge difference.
In most cases though in native resolutions a dual core at 3.2 should be enough.

Visit this site for latest pcsx2 svn builds and gsdx plugin versions!!

  • I have a Quad-Core 2,5 Ghz (AMD Phenom) / Radeon 9800 GTX+ / 4 GB Ram / Vista 64

It works ... but damn slow!

    WHY?

  • @jonnyoneie

doesnt matter that its quad core as pcsx2 utilizes 2 cores,

you need to overclock those cores as much as possible

2,5 is not enough, try to go at least above 3,0

  • No nieźle. Te linie to wina GTX260?

Jestem w trakcie kupna nowego PC:

    Phenom II x4 955 (3,2GHz), GTX260 core 216 i 4GB DDR 1333MHz

Wystarczy do emulacji full speed, czy trzeba będzie kręcić?

Może zamiast tego GTXa wziąć HD4870 1GBDDR5?

  • @damiaenPL

    bierz 5850 albo 5770 z i5 750

    teraz to się opłaca

paski to wina ustawień pluginu, jak uzyjesz wersji dx9 a nie dx10 i ustawisz rozdzielczosc na 1270x2000 to znikną

    pozdrawiam

  • I rather play this on it's console than to go through hell just to emulate it.

  • @DeathReaperGrim

no config required, just install the newest versions of pcsx2 and gsdx and youre ready to go
