Norfolk Southern 21M Meets 36A - 50+ MPH Meets

November 10, 2007: NS 21M with NS Dash-9-40CW trio 9159, beautiful K5LA, 9063, and 9597 met NS 36A with NS ES40DC 7613 and NS Dash-8-40C 8720. 36A's load commonly consists with loads of tractors. At the beginning of the video you can hear 36A call the 124-1E signal. Location, Losh's Run, PA, roughly MP 124. The memory became full on my camera and it cut out only like 4 seconds at the end.

This was shot with a Canon Powershot SD630. I also own a Canon Powershot SX100 IS, which some of my videos from this year are taken with, for example, my video with the NS loco on fire.

wow, those are 'photo' cameras and not 'video'. But you still get a very good quality.

I tend not to use the SX100 IS for videos, unless I am going for a very high quality shot or if it is after sundown. The SD630 is good for learning how to take pictures, after that stage I find it rather pointless. The SD630 gets a good battery life, and for how small it is it takes good quality videos.

Is that Dash-8 ex Conrail? The reason I ask is because I saw a Dash-8 in original blue about 8 days prior to when this vid was shot on 36 A. #8309.
