  • what do i pick if i want to build a media server to store all of my movies ???

  • @ockap00

I've honestly never made a full on media server before. I could never get my old computer to work properly.

I'd recommend the ubuntu server ISO since it's built to be efficient. The desktop version would have too much stuff and will slow the process down. Down side is you'll be working in the command line but you can install a GUI if you choose too.

Also google some step by step "How to's" and you'll be set. The community is fantastic and almost make it noob proof.

  • will it worked with rhel6 too???

  • @MrVirads

I've never installed Red Hat Dist. before however it should work the same since its just partitioning out your HD to fit 2 OS.
