One of histories greatest gaming publications makes it's first foray into the seedy world of video game help videos.

This is the first of the series and may be the best. It takes on the likes of the brutal Double dragon, the taxing Bionic Commando, confounding Milon's secret castle, and the Grueling Robowarrior. There's also Wizards and warriors, but you'll never beat that one, don't even bother.

When I got this tape in the mail, it was broken. The front was missing, and the tape itself was broken, but that's not enough to stop me from bringing it to you, the viewer. Almost, but not quite. I also got some free pizza while I was fixing it.

--------------------

In this part: Learn how to pronounce the names of the Double dragon bad guys three different ways, and swing like Tarzan!

  • The Skip Rogers series wasn't the best, but I never made fun of him. I still liked the series.

  • By the time you've read this, one of the Skip Rogers tapes will be uploaded. The other will follow.

  • at least they got abobo's name right unlike Skip Rogers who calls him "Adobo" (was he passing by the supermarket aisle that sells Goya products while planning that video?)

  • It's funny, while I was watching that same video, I thought the same thing. Then I thought about Photoshop flash integration. Then I recalled a somewhat old Saturday night live skit involving clay cars.

  • @BigBangBlitz ah, the Adobe. I remember seeing that in an SNL Commercial special which also included the famous Bass-o-Matic '76

  • Ha I loved the commercials almost as much as the tapes themselves. That backflip the kid does to avoid the dragon from Iron Sword was pretty damn smooth. Damn right Bionic Commando's the second game, classic!

  • @jeff181212

Well, they were both made by Capcom, so...that's quite possibly why it'd sound like that. Does to me, as well.

  • Never played Bionic commando but why does some of the music soun like its from mega man ? lol

  • Someone else already uploaded the Skip Rogers tapes. Only the 'previews' weren't included. They were my favorite part of the videos. These videos go back to my middle school years for some reason.
