  • The last one just has his ear flipped over backwards, it's there. All ears on all hounds here (but I know it can be hard to tell in the video). :-)

  • Thanks inbarshema,

We work very hard on our dog's care, training, conditioning, etc... These are good, strong, healthy dogs and as such have good, strong healthy immune and digestive systems (as nature intends) and for those that are skeptical of the raw diets, we've never had any sort of problem (we also feed raw green tripe). If they were going to have problems they sure would from some of the REALLY questionable remains they find and eat out in the desert and fields. ;-)

  • I am glad your dogs are healthy and strong. Thank you for the imformation.

  • One of these days I'm going to add a page to our website about how our dogs are fed, conditioned, trained, etc... (Google on moshire salukis), so folks CAN learn more about feeding performance dogs, etc. Having spent almost 40 years breeding/raising/training coursing hounds I've gone through a lot of trial and error, so I've got a lot to share!

  • Dude, youre feeding youre dogs chicken with bones that can kill them...... Please take my advice.

  • I'm a dudette ;-) Raw chicken is fine (do some research on raw feeding), it is the cooking that makes bones splinter. Cooking changes the molecular structure of bone. I've been feeding raw for over 14 years and have VERY healthy, strong dogs that never need vet dental work and live long lives. :-)

  • Nice to see Performance dogs being treated well! : )hey look healthy, Happy, and well trained!

  • Ask a veterinarian and they will tell you the risks you are taking by feeding your dog raw food. Yes, in the wild dogs catch, kill and eat their prey. Yes, it's natural. But what you are feeding your dogs is not freshly caught and killed. It's been sitting in a package in a grocery store. Bacteria has had ample times to grow all over this meat. Also, you're setting this chicken down on a towel, no bowl. I hope you change and wash out the bedding in the kennels everyday. But the dog room is nice.

  • Think about what your saying about feeding raw food..... The history of dogs come from wolves and their behavior. They did not have grills to cook the prey the killed. They hunted in packs and killed animals and ate them raw. Sometimes still alive. A dog's digestive system is quite amazing. They can eat plastic, wood chip bedding, grass, bones and be happy as can be.

  • i love raw feeding for my dogs. except alot of them are full coated and i hate the mess they can make on their coats. your dogs are so well mannered. awesome work with them
