Crime Watch 02/09: Appeal for info -- Snatch Theft at Chong Pang

On Friday, 13th of February 2009 at about 9.30pm , a snatch theft occurred at Sembawang Road - Chong Pang neighbourhood. The culprits have not been caught yet. This incident took place in full view of the public. Are you an eye-witness to this violent snatch theft case? I thought Singapore is like London.. a city with tons of CCTV Cameras around streets, buildings, pedestrians. (The whole Singapore is a city ryte?) but... if the theft ran away, why the police can't trace the theft and chase them????
