when i was looking to buy my first car i was looking for 2000 to 2004 A4 but when i was checking online i came across about 3 sellers who were practically giving them away because they all had problems going into reverse. is this a common problem with those years?

Why would you prefer it over a c300? I have a B7 A4 and am thinking about upgrading to a B8. I test drove one and it is way to big, and not sporty at all. This is why I am thinking about the c300 with a v6. More power over all. Correct?

@y571 to me there is no styling on the side of the vehicle. That is the only reason I do not like it

Should've gotten the one with the LED daytime running lights. Also I don't think it looks even close to anything like what a Honda or Toyota looks like.

if "powerful and precise" is your standard, why are you using an automatic as your test car? manual cars should be the basis for any analysis around these concepts as well as "driver involvement". when you include fuel consumption, I think the A4 beats out the 3 series any day of the week.
