i got an 81 rabbit diesel (1.6 n/a) im wantin to swap a 1.9 tdi into and was wantin to go with a mechanical injection pump, how hard is the swap from computer to mechanical?

Simpler to tune and a bit more reliable for endurance type racing (no sensors and computer = less to fail).
