Do more ride-a-longs with the local police! Apart from that, awesome video.

I like these kinds of videos. I wonder if you could find a way to put more footage up and have a 5+ minute segment on the ride-a-longs. I'm sure you saw many more people behaving badly than that

People are stupid, I see them do things like pull in front of emergency vehicles all the time and it really makes me wonder if they are brain dead!

Hit road signs, slam into a mercedes, and driven off road? o.o crazy women,
-
@mrumsower Seriously. I see bad drivers everyday. I have to execute an emergency maneuver to avoid an accident because someone did something stupid or dangerous about once a week. I wish they would make the driving test more difficult, because there are WAY too many people on the roads who shouldn't have a license. The other day guy cut across 3 lanes without signalling. Me and the guy next to me both had to slam on our brakes to avoid an accident. Btw, a CHP saw the whole thing and ignored it.

There's no such thing as bad drivers........ but there are stupid drivers.

Check your right mirror, proceed to the right, get out of the way. Is it that hard? Common sense.
Wait, this is CA, People + common sense? That does not exist.

In Canada if you're in a crash once you're a patient cops can't take a blood sample without your consent
-
nobody ever said "there are no bad drivers"

If there's an emergency vehicle behind you with it's lights flashing, and you have to go through a red light to move out of it's way, then just grow a set of balls and do so. They'll be quite thankful and won't ticket you for it, just use good sense and make sure you don't get hit by cross-traffic. The traffic laws state that a police officer's commands always override a traffic control device, so I think this situation would fall under that rule.
TVman1981, if you're in a situation like the Infiniti, what do you suppose to do if you are in the left turn lane and boxed in?

what the driver should have done was pull as far to the right as far as possible and stay there ...The officer was about to pass when the driver made the left turn in front of the cruiser ....... look at the video closely and you will see the drivers actually turn her head 90 degrees to look at the officer while she made the turn......
I would have pulled to the right and waited..... Then drove up to the next block to make safe u-turn and continue on my way
