we have to remember did the soviets have reason to make such outrageous claims? yes they did. Fascism infecting the communist ideology would make certain political people very uncomfortable and some aspects of the Fascist ideals would most likely appeal to some of their people if not many. Being communists they would have to portray nazis as gross monsters to stamp out any dissension among the ranks. Fact is propaganda is a powerful tool used to steer and motivate the masses.

i watched a program not long ago where a "survivor" talked of being in an execution where people were tied one hand to another like a chain. that the chain of people would walk to the pit, be shot , fall in then then next group brought in behind them and be made to shovel dirt over the previous group. first, why bother with the dirt, second how do you shovel when someone is tied to each of your hands? i've seen many examples like that interview which seem strange.
