i wouldnt use this, i dont mind plugging my iphone in and the iphone case is too bulky and doesnt look very productive. and having to put the case on every time is kinda counter productive. a plug or a dock would be way better for most people

I don't really understand the point of this device...

You plug the device in anyway, unless you have the special case.
