YouTube video view counts not updating 2011

My source: YouTube Help forum - Parnter section - 8-10 topics down an YT employee (Paul) has been updating the topic.

Back on the 12th of July 2011 YouTube updated their systems causing a massive lag problem, which has caused our video views to freeze as well as our Channel views not updating as normal.

They're aware of the problem and the trained monkeys are on the job.

They haven't given us a specific date when this problem will be fixed so hang in there because they've promised us we will not lose any views since the start of this problem.

Please leave a video response if you have any new up to date information regarding this problem.

They have not only not fixed it...nearly all my vid's counts are frozen now...on my 2 channels...since Dec 12th 2011...! So much for promises...eh..?

The problems wasn't fixed for almost a month. the channel view problem is back again. As for stating the obvious hmmm no way around that one really, considering I just talking about what was going on with my view stats :|

Are you guys stupid? Go read some official news about this, it is NOT a bug/glitch, Google is not that stupid. They did this to fight spam. Because people were selling "views" to videos by using bots and tools and such. Now youtube is using a new system that give the real amount of viewers (not includings bots, search engine, spammers, and users who keep refreshing pages). This is why the counter refresh it selfs once in a while after it is 100% sure the viewers aren't spam.

@iRouRoui Exactly.. You don't want your views froezen? Get some legit views.

it may be a glitch or it could be someone does not want certain videos to look like people are taking them seriously.. like videos about SOPA NDAA or ones critical of Obama for signing the NDAA which allows warrantless arrests and indefinite of US. citizens on suspicious alone.
