Often cooking is referred to as an 'art form' that evokes your senses and nowhere on the tv screen is this is more apparent than when watching chef Ramsey cook on BBC Americas The F Word. Chef Ramsey rescues on TV, ailing restaurants in trouble, living a nightmare, who don't seem to know their cabbages from carrots, let-alone-making profits.
In this scenario, the restaurant in question is Maison de Baggett, The House of Bread. The location is at Ramon Plaza in Cathedral City, CA, adjacent to Palm Springs where we have sun 24/7.
The restaurant has opened and closed twice under different names, in the past 18-months, and the Landlord is fed up the idea is to introduce a new artistic look and lounge dining area to make the dinning experience more appealing and profitable. The focus is to create an Artists Congregation Center, murals on the walls and ceiling, serving Globe Trotting BBQs, from all over the world. Items like whole baby hogs & lamb, slow cooked in a smoker, rotisserie chicken and pork shank, salads and saffron rice dishes, made Armenian style from mamas recipes of course, not set to menu, but left to a catch of the day that will dazzle and surprise the patrons to smile like Cheshire Cats experiencing Gordon Ramseys culinary genius in Maison de Baggett.
The carpeted dining floor will be replaced by wood and a new dance floor installed the office wall at the back will be removed as well. The kitchen will be enlarged creating a more open space where local furniture designers and antique dealers will be invited to decorate and stage the dining lounge area with furniture and stand alone lighting that will be changed every three months offering a fresh look.
Guests generally agree to be jolly, singing, and dancing on impulse with the musicians, dancers and performers in general creating a party atmosphere (no karaoke please we are British). The dance floor will be used for the performance of improve, and short comedy strips from famous

The white walls shall also be used as large movie screens to project to simultaneously turn the restaurants four walls into surround system screens as well as the ceiling and the tiled and concrete floors hence creating a 6-degree-visual-bonanza This dining experience will be synonymous with Masion de Baggetts movie theater experience, creating a rotation of movies, art and fashion shows to dazzle the patrons like no other eating experience in the world/universe.
