its not such a massive stretch to compare this song to some of tools music, the intro has a kind of tabla feel similar to some of danny careys grooves, both vocalists sing in a similar understated and detached fashion, both groups have used unusual timing signatures, they both use elements of metal. they are very different,granted, but also somewhat comparable. just open your 3rd eye and you'll see what happens now!
