Its Not Over // A Glee Story ch.31

( Three weeks later, Friday after school, Glee club is setting up for the Halloween dance in cafeteria for thet night )

My bruises pretty much went away after a couple of days. Quinn's mom had enough of me and sent me back home. My dad goes to AA meetings at the local grocery store. Yes, the grocery store. Weird right? But the manager used to be a alcholic so he "speaks"out about it now. The worst part? I have to go with him twice a week. I don't mind going as long as my dad gets better though.

Brooklyn Pov

Sam isn't here...again. He said he'd meet me here. The rest of the Glee club would get ready here and Sam would just arrive later. We've told eachother everything, yet I still feel like he's hiding something. Me and Sam have been skipping gym just to hang out with eachother, and it shouldn't come down to that. Hot Chelle Rae arrived and I introduced them to everyone. Everyone was so happy, and the decorations were great! Orange and black balloons were hanging up everywhere. Several booths were set up around the door leading to the dance floor. The girls headed to the kitchen to make some sweets and what not.

Brooklyn - So...what are we making?
Mercedes - Cookies, and cupcakes.
Quinn - Yup!
Brooklyn - Fun! I make a mean red velvet cupcake!
Finn - *knocks on door* Brooklyn, may I talk to you?
Brooklyn - Yeah sure whats up?
Finn - I want to do somehting special for Rachel...can I sing a song for her on stage tonight?
Brooklyn - *smiles* Yeah!
Finn - But it's a secret...so you can't tell her.
Brooklyn - My lips are sealed! You can go talk to the band and arrange somehting...can you get Puck to start on the stage?
Finn - *smiles* Yeah..and thanks.
Brooklyn - No problemaa!
Rachel - What'd Finn want?
Brooklyn - *smiles* Nothing...he asked me where the directions were for the stage.
Rachel - Ohh...
Brooklyn - Yeah! So lets get to cooking!

We made 3 different types of cupcakes and 5 different types of cookies! They all tasted, and smelled delicious! There was an hour until the dance and we all started getting ready. I slipped into my Gypsy outfit and did my hair. Tina was Catwoman, Quinn was Marilyn Monroe...which I think it fit there personalitys perfect! It would be another 30 minutes until the dance officialy started and Sam walked into the cafeteria.

Sam - *walks up behind Brooklyn* Hey beautiful.
Brooklyn - Hey Sam. *smiles*

Everything was ready. Food, drinks, band...an amazing boyfriend to be next to all night. Could this night get any better? Finally it was 8 o'clock and the dance started. People flooded into cafeteria and the band started playing.
Teachers were monitoring the food and Mr. Schue was selling the cookies and cupcakes. Everyone was having a good time until we all heard a scream in the hallway.
