When Latisha Sheppard Bey's mother had a stroke in Georgetown, South Carolina, Latisha was concerned that stroke experts at Medical University of South Carolina were located an hour and a half away. But thanks to the REACH Stroke Program working in conjunction with partner hospitals like Georgetown Memorial, she was able to consult with MUSC specialists in real time and get the care she needed.
