@007cupcake007 Due to the city's unique geology, the Saint Petersburg Metro is one of the deepest subway systems in the world and the deepest by the average depth of all the stations.

We took those subways so many times during our month in Piter. I can still hear the announcer's voice in my head, and the kids still get a kick out of saying that phrase at the end.

I was on this escalator just two months ago. It was unbelievable! Not boring at all for a tourist. Anyone know if it's the longest escalator in the world? St. Petersburg rocks! I can't wait to go back!
