hmm, it seemed ok for a demo. not much 'Ai' though, you both seemed to wait for the movement to stop before doing the technique. and i am sure thatmany would see dropping the weapon at the feet of the uke as disrespectful

@rudocurtir - that's cool. I'm quite familiar with M. Ueshiba, Yamada, Sugano, Saito, Saotome Shihans, Sensei who taught weapons. Based upon the discussions I've read on Aikiweb, there are quite a bit of opinions about it; Many say the same thing I said here. And I've never seen a demonstration by the above mentioned shihan, or H. Saito (the son, I may have spelled that wrong) throw a weapon on the ground, bouncing around like that. To each his own.
