It will still show people what really happened and that the important part if the company choose to lie and try to make the guy look like a trouble maker and give him all the blame publicly. Also, public opinion dosent care what works in court or not.

Also, if a video shows you are innocent for something, even if its not allowed in court, the jury might still see it and because of their exposure to the video might look for any other valid reason to rule in regards to the video.
