Van Halen @ Cafe Wha

Van Halen put on an AMAZING show for 280 people at Cafe Wha in NYC on Jan 5, 2012 to kick off their 2012 tour. I sat right off stage right for one of the most unbelievable memorable once-in-a-lifetime experiences that I will NEVER forget. Sound is very bass heavy since I'm on top of Wolfgang's amp, but you can still hear and see VH's brilliance! Got a lot of shots of Dave, a few of Alex, and tried to get as many as I can of Eddie across the stage. Enjoy :-)

Wow! I didn't expect to be impressed. I LOVE Mike Anthony. Wolfie is actually good. After hearing this video and the fact they played a CLUB and not an arena I just might possibly consider the potential that a slim chance might present itself that I could possibly like Van Halen again. I like the way Wolfie plays here. I'm a bass player with lots of experience and I can assure you the boy can play a bass. He's not a frustrated guitarist or anything. He's a bass player.
