for everyone wildly upset about the guitar being out of tune.. GET OVER IT! It's an easy lick. You should be able to mimic it without playing along.

@joe39363 Believe me, if I could go back in time and change one thing in my life, it'd be the tuning of my guitar before I filmed this video.

A effin string makes him look lazy?. Just to start, he's the one making the lesson for your enjoyment. Thanks Lerb, that's a cool lick!

what did you mean about the brad paisley comment?
Interesting video. Started playing Don back in those days. I remember that awful day also. Very easy player. That doesn't mean he wasn't an awesome player. Haven't played his stuff for, probably 30 years. However, one thing bothers me...why don't you take 12 seconds and tune that telecaster dude? Or replace the strings, or reset the bridge. makes you look like a beginner...or even worse, lazy. Thanks for the video.

I know it isn't your intent at all, but comments about tuning piss me off more than anything. Although your intent is not to insinuate that I'm a beginner or lazy, it still does.
Anyway, they were probably new strings, the intonation of the bridge was correct. Frankly the e string being slightly sharp is the least of my worries, and while it gets under some peoples skin, but I really don't care.
In fact, I put that annotation there to avoid comments about it and getting ticked off.

Plus, I'm not going to redo a lesson when I conveyed the point effectively and waste tape and time because my e strings was slightly out of tune. I certainly tuned the guitar before hand too, so you don't have to say that I could've just tuned before hand and saved the hassle of all this.
