I ran my fingers over the gravestone slowly, looking over at him for a split second before he took my other hand in his and just stared at the gravestone quietly. We sat there in silence for a while. I finally broke it by standing up and pulling my hand away gently,''I have to get back to school, considering I'll be missing a whole lot of it at the end of the year.'' I tried to get a chuckle out of him, but that sure didn't do it.

He sat there for a minute before standing up and nodding too me. He turned and began walking out of the graveyard. I followed behind him slowly but kept my distance. He cocked his head too look at me for a minute,''For the record, I wish you would have told me all this sooner.'' He shook his head slightly.

''What would telling you any sooner change? I waited to tell you because I didn't think you would stick around. You are so self-absorbed with all your women that you have around you.'' He chuckled to himself, turning around and stopping me. ''Do you really think that's all I do? Do you not know that I have a life outside of partying and school? That I have a job? Or even the fact that I have a brother in the hospital at the moment? Demi you don't know anything about me, therefore you shouldn't be judging me.''

At that point, I was speechless and just stared at him, all he did was roll his eyes and turned away and began walking once again, but this time he walked a faster pace, getting away from me. I sighed to myself, walking back to the school alone. Lately, I'm beginning to wonder if I can do anything right anymore.

Walking into class late, gave me a detention after school quite quickly. I must say sitting in a room alone with just a teacher is not only awkward, but boring as can be. That was until Joe walked in, telling the teacher a lie to get me out of the room early. I walked out of the classroom, ''Oh thank you, I thought I was going to die.'' He nodded,''No problem. I guess I'll see you tomorrow?"

He almost turned but then looked up at me,''I need too meet your mom soon. And my parents need to meet you.'' He began walking off, as I started at his backside, I cleared my throat,''And when do I get too meet Joe?" That caused him too look back at me with a smile, he waved his hand in the air,''I have to work tonight. Maybe tomorrow. You make me tired.'' He chuckled, walking out the doors.

I smiled to myself for the first time in a while and continued to smile as I walked into my house, throwing all my homework down on the couch. I heard heels clicking along the floor as my mom appeared out of the kitchen,''You look fancy, where are you heading?" I laughed while staring at her slick black dress. She smiled while grabbing her purse,''I have a date for the first time in years,'' she shook her head,''So don't wait up. Dinner is in the oven. It should be done when the timer goes off. Love you!'' And with that, she's out the door and I was sitting there alone like always.

I didn't really know how to take the fact that my mom was going out on date for the first time since my dads been gone, it was kind of unbelievable. My train of thought was broke when my phone rang, I scrambled to my bag, looking through it. By the time I had found it, it had stopped ringing. Then a knock came at the door. ''What the.'' I walked over too the door, opening it slowly too find him standing there, staring with a big smile, he waved his hands,''Surprise.''
