@RedGoblinus Yes, Thatcher admitted she had been duped by Maastrichtbut it was her stance against a federal Europe which cost her the job as PM. Howe wanted total integration & she was against it. Bliars decision to give up Thatchers rebate & veto was staggeringly stupid, As for Brown his signing of the Lisbon treaty was as deceitful as it can get...........The last 3 prime ministers of the UK had promised a referendum on Europe, Bliar, Brown & Cameron.....we are still waiting!!!

Indeed, the Tories are traitors because it was Tories that signed us up to the EEC in 1973 on shit terms. It was their leader Margaret Thatcher that campaigned for a 'Yes' vote for continuing EEC membership in the referendum of 1975. It was Tories that signed us up to the EU in 1992 by signing the Treaty of Maastricht. As for the Liberals and Labour - they are the bedfellows of the Tory EU loving traitors.
