it took me 7 months to beat ac1, for ac2.. it took me a week.. i think they made the ac2 too easy, it made me mad wen i beat it :P, but there awsome games XD

ok guys many of you are confused so: Altair 2 was the assasain you play as in ac1 but in ac2 you are the son of the assasain in this video in fact you see him playing chess at end he is kid on left go on wikipedia it helps a lot more

the first Assassin was Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad wich in arabic is called "the bird the son of No-One" wich was trained by Rashid ad-Din Sinan A.K.A Al Mualim wich in arabic means "the teacher" .
Altaïr was the ultimate Assassin of his time.

Giovanni was the Assassin before Ezio, aka only in LINEAGE, but in the first game the assassin's name was Altair, i hope this helped.
