@Helenem55 The nice thing about Youtube is that we can enjoy far more songs and singers than when there was no Youtube. The bad thing is that many people without any knowledge of music can give their opinion. That should be forbidden, particularly when they are insulting on top of it. There are plenty of places on internet where you can play around with nonsense. Unfortunately.I wouldn't dare to give comments if I am an outsider on the subject. Have a nice day!

I'm not a Streisand fan, but you are quite right about the intro. That is indeed in the original score.
No one should give her flak for singing it, as written. .
A lot of oldies have long intros. White Christmas has a intro that 99 out of a 100 people have never heard.

"My Funny Valentine" is a show tune from 'Babes in Arms' (by Rodgers and Hart) and Streisand sang it EXACTLY as it was written. What's with the comment about her nose? Your post makes it quite clear... YOU AIN'T ALL THAT!!!
