Girlfriends - Season 7 - Episode 1 - Part 2

On Joan's last day in New Orleans volunteering helping the victims of Hurricane Katrina, she meets Aaron, a fellow volunteer who asks her out. When Joan arrives in L.A. she is determined to repair her relationship with Maya, Lynn, and most importantly Toni. Maya and Darnell return home from Florida where Darnell was working for NASCAR and discover that Lynn has moved in to their house. Meanwhile, William starts to regret his marriage proposal to Monica.

It really baffles me about why Toni fell out with Joan. As selfish as she has been their entire relationship, I can't believe she couldn't forgive Joan for a season of thinking of only herself. I can't believe It!!!!

Me and my best friend of 23 years fell out like this. Sometimes people grow apart or you just get fed up with all the bs you once put up with when you were younger. In my case it was me mature'n and coming to the conclusion that she was never really my friend to begin with, I was just convenient. I found out she would talk about me behind my back and say all kinds of mean hurtful things. It's sad b/c I considered her a sister. I'm over it now and I say good riddens.

Well I see that the writers did find a way to keep you guys going about Toni even though she's no longer on the show that's why she's not returning Joan's calls lol Jill Marie Jones(Toni) contract was up, it sucks because see was the centerpiece to the show so it's no longer interesting and man she was the finest female ever you ask me.

@FierceInTraining I was glad to see in the last season that things were finally coming together for Lynn. She even purchased the gang Christmas presents that were on the high end. I wish they were able to finish the season as I would have loved to see Lynn have an album release party or announce a tour.

@Punkout16 Mara Brock Akil, according to many media sources wanted to keep Jill Marie Jones, on board some kind of way. JMJ stated she was ready to move on and explore other career opportunities. Unfortuantely, all she landed was a bad Christmas movie in 2007 and some liquor commercials. Sometimes, sitcom stars get a little too big for the panties. The kid (the son) from Small Wonder said the same thing and nobody has seen since the show ended

Tony was the show my husband and I think she is a beauty beauty black and the most beautiful they should have paid her well but I know they didnt so there goes the show good luck tony in all you do you are more beautiful than Jolie and that iis not a comment its a fact

As funny as Lynn's "I don't have anything so let me bum it with you" storyline is, it's depressing at this point. I pray that I'm never in Lynn's situation.

@Keliyahrenee yeah it hurts when it's someone you valued like family but I have a life motto: I only surround myself with those who mean me well and make me happy. Life is too short to be unhappy. If you do then you got to go. As I told my ex best friend, "I put a rose on the grave of what was our friendship. It may be a bit mean but I told her she is now dead to me. I am a forgiving person but once you continually coss certain lines there is no coming back.

@rosieparez I can relate to the friend thing had a friend I saw as my sister was there 4 her through a LOT and she just stopped talking me. As u said I figure the friendship was one of convenience was not meant 2b no more afta how many years. High five on da good riddens
