Exercising is a VERY EFFECTIVE way to burn calories and you can lose weight that way. But it's NOT as effective for losing weight as creating a calorie deficit by simply eating less.

What's a calorie deficit? It's when you eat less than your body needs on a daily basis. You can also exercise vigorously for long periods of time to burn up calories eaten and create a calorie deficit. But it's just easier to stop eating at a point before you meet your body's daily needs.

To create a fat burning calorie deficit, you need to find out how many calories your body needs each day. You can use the calculators on my site to get that number (and my calculators are free to use). Then simply eat fewer calories than that number. On my site, I call that number your "Daily Calorie Allowance". When you eat less than your Daily Calorie Allowance, you lose weight. When you eat more, you gain weight. Simple, huh?

Here's my weight loss tip: "The best way to control and manage your weight is to control and manage the calories that you eat. By doing this you can create a fat-burning calorie deficit each day." Using this method, your body burns the food that you eat for energy, but it also burns fat every day that you create a calorie deficit.
