In this age of the diaspora, migration is inevitable and family dispersal becomes necessary due to some economic, political and social designs that are beyond individual control. Everyone leaves and moves onto another in order to complete a material and psychological insufficiency that is tightly maintained by popular culture. We all learned that the world's resources are scarce and life is a struggle. And the model for comfort and decency is the lifestyles of the rich. It never came to our mind that it was just a mindset, or only a psychological propaganda of producers in order to lure us into consumerism. This is where my song is crying out, absentee parenthood by migrants. I ask the quiestion why which I know many of us cannot understand. We crave so much for things beyond much or beyond the basics which we can afford, like food, shelter and clothing, but societal structures convince us of another thing. Let's look at this combinations: work, work, pay, pay = we lose the hell out of life with our loved ones. It's easy to say but it's going to begin with me and I promise not to be swayed much by vicous consumerism. So I can see my loved ones more often.
Hey, I'm just wondering if anyone here can tell me where I can find the chords for this song online.

Wow! That's all I can say.
Even though I'm not an ofw, I am still half filipino. I long to be back in the philippines again. Like rizal, I am mixed race. Like rizal, I live away from the philippines, and like rizal, my heart longs for my homeland.
