@dss103 ya i have been training mma for about 3 years now, i have just recently started at a gracie barra school because i found grappling a lot of fun. to go pro where i live is a lot harder cuz there isnt much. i have to travel more then 500km just to get to the tounaments i compete in, i just wish i started when i was 10years old like these killers in the video..the next generation on mma starts r gunna be scary!!!
@dss103 If he meant competing professionally, then ya over 30 is out of the question unless he has a highly athletic background. But I would recommend training boxing, muay thai, or even just jiu jitsu for somebody looking to get interested who is over 30. Hell, maybe even an amateur match.
I listen to a radio show where the host started training when he was around 35. 1 amateur boxing match, 1 pro MMA fight, and an upcoming pro boxing match. He's 40 now. Don't let age get in the way.
@1986coreymma Hey it's never too late...unless your over 30. How old are you? You can still compete and maybe even go far. Have you done any martial art beforehand? There's alot of fighters that have started their sport after they were 20 sometimes as late as 25!
