San Francisco's Redbull Soapbox Race 2008: La Bamba! Bring on the Burrito Bomber

San Francisco hosted its first Redbull soapbox race this Saturday atop the Mission Districts Dolores St, hosting 33 different local and national teams. Not to be confused with the Youth Soapbox Derby, Redbull drew 60,000 spectators to Dolores Park to ooh and ahh and mingle with the outlandishly costumed members of each team, whose Soapboxes were anything but ordinary. There were the Treehuggers, the Rubix Cube, and even a Transamerica shaped car, but San FranciscoIAM.com was specifically invited to chronicle team 32, the Burrito Bomber.
