  • I just made a delicious smoothie using silken tofu for breakfast this morning!

    Half the block of tofu

    half a ripe banana

small handful (1/8-1/4 cup) fresh blueberries

    small handful blackberries

a squirt (1-2 tsp.) agave nectar

a splash of UNSWEETENED almond milk

(just enough to blend the smoothie)

WOW its really delicious! Just thought I would share this recipe that I came up with this morning =) It really hits the spot and its so good!

  • WOW CARL LEWIS. COOL!

  • how to fry firm tofu and make it actually edible (in fact, quite tasty):

    1. pat dry your tofu

    2. slice it thinly, though careful not to let it crumble apart so not too thin.

    3. marinate it with Soy Sauce, and perhaps garlic, ginger, korean spicy sauce (go chu jang). you can also use miso paste, korean soy bean paste (doen jang). leave it for a while so that the flavors get into the tofu

    4. fry in quite a bit of oil, and until crispy, which takes a reasonably long time.

  • lol Where the fuck did Carl Lewis come from?

  • lol

  • What is tofu?

  • hey is about tofu rigth lol

  • Um, can you put a link to the cookbook on Amazon? I'm going to search for it, but I know people are more likely to check out the book if you put a link here.

  • That helped alot. Thank you so much. (:
