In light of the holiday season, I felt it rather novel to post a video that has absolutely nothing to do with Thanksgiving.

Since I'm a media arts student, I figured while everyone's waiting for Gargoyles I could post a few of these projects I've been working on for school. All such videos will be part of "Randomness Theater," so you'll have NO idea what's coming.

This is my first attempt at Time Laps. If you're not familiar, that's where you take a string of photos to make time go by faster. And since I love Oragami, I figured why not show the quick process of making paper cranes. So literally this was me, sitting at a desk, folding 50 cranes in a row.

I NEED A LIFE!!

  • You know, according to Japanese legend, if you make 100 origami cranes you get a wish granted by the Crane God.

  • @assilembrandywine

Oh if only it were that easy. I've made well over 100 cranes in my lifetime.

Sadly, the legend actually calls for 1,000 cranes in order for there to be a wish. Goodness knows I've never come even CLOSE.

  • wait, so you took all those pictures? Who was holding the camera? Or did you film it and choose frames?

  • @cheftoniFTW

I had my camera on a tripod and set to rapid shot.

  • @EvilChicken25 Oops! Dopey me forgot a 0!

  • Wow you fold paper really fast XD. I probabaly couldn't stand folding 50 cranes nonstop. The cranes are in pretty colors. I think the visual footage was actually 49 seconds long not 50.

  • good job snakey!
