  • Cash, simple, no identity fraud problems, you know what you've spent and what you have left. No late charges, or interest on the folding stuff in your wallet. Keep it simple. Don't bother buying televisions! And buy from shops.

  • People advocating paying cash/debit is stupid.

If i'm buying something i better get some rewards points.

I get 1.5% Cashback on every purchase on my CC, why the fuck would i ever pay anything in CASH?

  • @davidnightingale No interest? "A rose by any other name..." 3.6% inflation (2011) according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and that is skewed down given the screwy yard stick they use.

  • can i survive without a credit card? i know nothing about credit and interest and its all to confusing, i just buy prepaid cards to buy stuff online. but when i want a house with no credit i wonder how that works, can i save all the $ to buy the house from day 1 lol

  • @mahnarch But if you have cash, why not use a card then pay it off in full ,then that way, you're not paying interest PLUS building a credit rating.. which can obviously help you later on in life.

  • You have to watch out with those warranties and protections. Sometimes if you pay off your card, they won't back you with your claim. Also, some credit card policies require that the covered purchase was done within 500 miles of your billing address to qualify.

  • @xrangerx I agree 100% spending money w/o getting a deep discount, or straight percentage back is a dead concept.

  • What's in MY wallet?

    CASH!!! HA!

No one needs to bow down to the Great FICO!

I believe in the 100% Down payment plan.

    Manual underwriters.

And, an extra couple of bucks on insurance doesn't hurt when you HAVE MONEY!!

    Ramsey all the way! :)

  • uh money is more dangerous it can get lost a lot quicker in your couch dedede

  • thumbs down? hmm
