I braved the sub-zero temperatures and went to Cranford park in west London to take a look at St. Dunstan's church. The church and the graveyard are recorded in the Doomsday book and there's been a church on the site for at least 1400 years! It's undergone some restoration over the years after fire damage suffered in the 18th century .

From Saxon to Norman to the Knights Templars and the Kights Hospitallers - it's had an interesting history for a small church.

  • @GodfreyBouillon2 hahaa you already have work for next year!! xD

  • @GodfreyBouillon2 yes it does, many places in Malta were built by the Hospitallers, including our Capital city Valletta, named for Grand Master La Vallette, it is heavily fortified & built on massive bastions, also many forts, towers, churches, chapels, st.john's cathedral & palaces around Malta built by them. one of these days i'm planning to go to visit some of them & make a vid after :)

  • @Suppressingfire Of course you should!! They would make for some great videos. Malta must have so many fantastic medieval places, especially the ones where the Hospitallers were. A lot of us who cannot get to Malta would love to visit such places.

    Thanks for the rating! :-)

  • @Retarior Sure! We could both go dressed as Knights too to make it more realistic and tell the priest "the Templars are back". ;-)
