@ScarsOfTheCrucifix I don't think that's what he means. It's a real drummer but his beats were recorded using triggers and the original sound of the drums replaced with samples each time the drum is hit, just like an electric kit would. This is a pretty universal way of doing things in metal but a lot of bands like born of osiris and the faceless do this in a really unnatural way, which can get a bit annoying at times.
