The theme represents the strength of a relationship between a student and their mentor, one could even say a daughter and father bound & the lengths one will go for the people they care for that goes past the line of duty, regrets, and mistakes we as humans have.

Though I bet this message will get shifted and unnoticed by the masses complaining about terrible voice acting and whatever people like to whine about these days. Miss the days people would enjoy games without all this "political" crap

I actually liked the voice acting. I enjoyed this game very much and this music has a deep emotional effect on me.

i must be the only one who thought the voice acting was good? i thought it fit the personality of the game well - samus was talking about events occurring like a journal almost, a personal diary. she's not going to be overly dramatic in that speech - that's unrealistic to me. i think that would have ruined the somber mood of a lot of moments.

i applaud them for converting Samus so well and humanizing her. it reminded me of how she seemed to talk in fusion. quietly contemplating her thoughts..

@xdoods Yeah, this game was just awesome. I don't know why EVERYBODY cares about graphics today, this is really stupid. That's why I always choose Nintendo consoles: because of the fun that I have with the games.

I liked the Primes and the 2D Metroids, but for me Other M was a disappointment. The story was lame, voice acting could've been better and the soundtrack was poor. The mix between 2D and first perspective was a little weird, the authorizing was stupid and the personality of Samus was.. uggh, not good. Still, I like the Ridley fight, the ending was nice and the combat moves were awesomesauce. Liked that they brought back bosses and items from past games. =D So it's a mixed bag for me.. 6.5/10

i miss sidescroll metroid X| primes wer cool but other m was such a disappointment (for me). the style was soo weird cuz of team ninja and they made samus' personality different than i expected... i loved seeing nightmare and phantoon in 3d thou :D

@NeonSpacemanTK it's actually not a game, it says in the right before the title, "Metroid the movie" then the word metroid comes up and it becomes underlined with, "other M" below it. then this music starts playing and it says, "please press 2". the theme keeps playing until you start the game.

it even has a mode after you beat the game to watch all of the cut-scenes with recorded gameplay in the middle. it's just like watching a movie and even says chapter (#) when you choose where to start..
